The honor stand is open now through mid-Oct.
I will be at the Swampscott Farmer's Market Sept 19.
This is the ideal time for planting native perennials to get them set for the winter. Plants will die back above ground, but underneath they will continue establishing and growing roots all winter.

The honor stand will be open for the month of September and maybe October, depending on supply. Again, it's a great time for getting perennials in the ground so take advantage. Send me an email for the address.

About The New Yankee Garden
About 10 years ago my son found a caterpillar on the rue plant in our garden. I was a city girl and had actually never seen a caterpillar 'in the wild'. I was intrigued. Turns out, it was an Eastern Black Swallowtail. I kind of became obsessed with providing host plants and attracting more and more butterflies and caterpillars.

As I learned about the host plants I kept coming across information on native plants. The more I got into raising caterpillars, the more I became interested in growing native plants to support native insects. Eventually I started growing native plants from seed because I could not find them in garden centers. I always ended up with more than I needed so the next step seemed to be to start selling them. And now here we are. Each year I add more and more species and take up more and more space in our basement!

You can find me most weekends fiddling in my garden and adding plants to the little honor stand I have. Stop by and chat anytime!
